Dr. Nisa Dadjoo is a Prosthodontist specialized in implants, cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, with over 10 years of experience. A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. Dadjoo is honored to have the opportunity to help serve and restore the faces and smiles of her patients and help her fellow Houstonians reach their oral health care goals. Dr. Dadjoo graduated Klein high school and enrolled at the University of Houston as a freshman. Her outstanding aca- demic achievements lead her to accept a research position at the world-renowned Baylor College of Medicine focus- ing on childhood obesity and its correlation to oral health. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from UH and attended the University of Texas School Dentistry to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). She continued her Post- Doctorate residency there to specialize in Prosthodontics and was awarded a Masters of Science for her ground- breaking work in biomaterials research. Dr. Dadjoo entered into private practice since graduating, and she continues to stay current in her field. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr. Dadjoo is trained in a wide array of oral rehabilitation procedures with her focus mainly on full arch implant restorations such as All-On-4 hybrid restorations. Dr. Dadjoo is fluent in English, Farsi and Turkish. When she is not restoring beautiful smiles, Dr. Dadjoo enjoys yoga, cooking, and photography.

Dr. L.T. Johnson is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who practices in the Houston and Sugar Land areas of Texas. Dr. Johnson graduated from Alabama A&M University with a double major in Chemistry and Biology. Dr. Johnson attended Meharry Medical College where he completed an advanced residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He lives in Houston and has over 13 years of experience. Dr. Johnson performs a wide range of Oral Surgery services that include: Face Lifts, Botox®, Bone Regeneration, Dental Implants, and the very popular “All-on-4®” procedure performed at Bellaire Modern Dental. When he is not performing Oral Surgery, Dr. Johnson is very involved with his church and community.

Before You Call
There are some ways to treat your pain and assist in your own recovery before seeing an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. If you have a toothache or are experiencing oral pain, you can take an over-the-counter pain reliever as directed on the packaging. If you have a tooth knocked out and still have the tooth in one piece, clean it with water but be careful not to remove any attached tissue. Then put the tooth back into the socket if possible and hold it there. Otherwise, place it in a small container of milk to preserve it. We may be able to put the tooth back into place if we’re able to treat it soon enough.
If you have a toothache or are experiencing oral pain, you can take an over-the-counter pain reliever as directed on the packaging.
When To Seek Medical Care
PLEASE NOTE: If you’re having head or neck pain, are unable to stop bleeding, are feeling dizzy, or have suffered severe trauma, please get medical attention without delay. Call 911 or have a responsible party drive you to the nearest emergency room dental clinic, or hospital. A full-time medical practitioner is the best choice for your emergency care in such cases.

Missing or Dislodged Tooth
A missing or dislodged tooth can be a scary time but in some cases it’s fixable and we’re here to help you manage the pain. The best thing to do if your tooth has been knocked out or dislodged is to place it back in the socket until you can visit your dentist. Make sure to rinse your mouth, washing away blood and other harmful particles. If you cannot fit the tooth back into the socket, store it in warm milk, saline, or your own saliva. When handling the tooth, take it by the crown and not the root. Visit your dentist or an emergency room as soon as possible.
Fractured or Broken Tooth
After rinsing your broken tooth with warm water, apply ice to your cheek on the affected side to reduce swelling and sensitivity. Over the counter pain medication may be used to control the pain or discomfort. Visit your dentist as soon as possible. Treatment options vary depending on the severity of the break but your dentist will work with you to develop a custom treatment plan to get your smile back in no time!
Managing Tooth Pain at Home
Minor discomfort and tooth pain can sometimes be remedied at home and may be the result of foreign particles that have been stuck between teeth or gums. It is best to rinse your mouth thoroughly and avoid placing pain medication right on the affected area. If the pain persists, don’t hesitate to contact us and we will fit you in as soon as we can!

Intense tooth pain can be a sign of an underlying dental issue that requires immediate attention. We can quickly diagnose and treat the source of your toothache, providing relief from pain and preventing further complications.
